My Next Sci-Fi Campaign

I don't know if it would be Star Frontiers, Stars Without Number, or something else (never played Traveller...maybe I should give it a try?), but this galactic map would work well for whatever sci-fi game I decide to run if I ever wind down the Star Wars game.

  1. I'm almost always going to recommend Traveller first if you're looking for that open universe feel but using that map is a stroke of genius. lol

  2. I will get around to Traveller one of these days. But for me, it's lumped in with Pendragon as a game I would rather play in than run myself. I just need to convince someone in Busan to run one of those games!

    1. Funny, in Japan Traveller - Classic Traveller - is still quite popular. I used to see articles and scenarios for it published in gaming magazines like RPG Magazine, Role & Roll, and others. Wish it was popular in Korea too.

  3. I haven't seen anyone into Traveller here. Cthulhu rules among Korean gamers. But even then, it's similar to the 80s US gaming scene. Korean TTRPG players are pretty rare.

  4. I'd say Star Frontiers. It seems to be underrepresented at the moment, and I'd love to see someone run a campaign in it. I'd rather be part of it, too.
