Damn, they better come up with something better than that before release time. I've never studied marketing, but that sure sounds like "buy this crap now, we'll be selling you more crap later" to this customer.

ReplyDeleteI think they will call it "Dungeons & Dragons", period. They want to end the edition war stuff, and the assumption that there will be another one soon, too.

ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, "buy this crap now, we'll be selling you more crap later" seems to be the way WotC operates. I'm not saying that they shouldn't put out additional material, but they take it too far with reboots to the core rules way too often. I kinda wonder how many people they lose with each new version of core rules they crank out.
