It gets very limited spell slots, but they refresh after a "short rest" rather than a "long rest" like the other casters. Plus, a lot of the special abilities they can pick from give them either an at-will spell effect, or a permanent special ability that can replace a spell (like Read Languages or at higher levels True Sight).

So on further analysis, the Sorcerer looks potentially to be the least powerful/most limited of the "Magic-User" classes. Their pool of points that can be used for extra casting or metamagic might keep them competitive in play, but I wonder about them on paper.Dennis Laffeyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03053699552003336733noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5255299705122830812.post-31594861546621245342014-11-17T12:44:55.342+09:002014-11-17T12:44:55.342+09:00Warlock should be like the 80's movie Warlock ...Warlock should be like the 80's movie Warlock pictured. Gain a crazy powerful MU, but have a "save vs death" commonplace weakness. Maybe better hair every level...Lee Bhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06698873084592329937noreply@blogger.com
