Bid on it, but the sale ended at 4am my time zone. Someone outbid me in the last few hours and I didn't have a chance to counter-bid since I was sleeping.

Oh well, found another complete set "buy it now" with free shipping in the U.S., box dinged up but all cards in the set, for just slightly more than what the previous would have cost me with shipping added if I hadn't been outbid, and less than if I'd been able to counter-bid. Ordered.

Next time I head back to the States (or if my parents decide to be nice and foot the shipping bill to Korea), I'll be able to play Dungeon! with my boys.Dennis Laffeyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03053699552003336733noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5255299705122830812.post-77588104635743557032018-09-06T06:30:01.196+09:002018-09-06T06:30:01.196+09:00For my purposes, the simplicity of the map is a bo...For my purposes, the simplicity of the map is a bonus. I'm running a West Marches hexcrawl, and many of the players don't seem to enjoy labyrinthine dungeons so much. They left the Caves of Chaos half explored, and Quasqueton (with simplified map) only about one quarter explored.

As for the difficulty, I will make sure the dungeon levels are obvious and also maybe make a few adjustments.

Thanks for the tips!Dennis Laffeyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03053699552003336733noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5255299705122830812.post-4863513669965507952018-09-06T01:02:41.920+09:002018-09-06T01:02:41.920+09:00Interestingly enough, I've talked about this w...Interestingly enough, I've talked about this with Dave Megarry (creator of the game) and he told me that he feels the dungeon map is a little too simple for a good D&D dungeon crawl, so you might want to map it out on graph paper and expand a bit here or there. Also, although it was certainly scaled for level, you should probably keep in mind that it can be a bit more deadly than the standard fare.
